CQ WW DX SSB 2008 @ F5KEE !

Before my stay in Paris (24 days !) for my job, Fabrice F1CGN and I planned , during a QSO on 10M, to meet if our free times would be the same...
The fate wanted that my rest comes in the daytime of October 24th and some free time on 25th & 26th... The week-end of the CQ WW DX !
On Friday evening I finally met Fabrice after all our previous QSOs on the air and we directly drove to F5KEE Club Station in Viry Chatillon (DDFM91 south of Paris). There I could visit and appreciate a very beautiful radio club and a very nice shack too, especially for the CQ WW contest ! ;-)
1 hour later, Franco F4EVR arrived, he planned to be active all night long alone, so we finally were 2 with me ! Thank you Franco for this great funny night we had ( "Shalom !", "Alleluiah !" :-D ).

On Saturday morning, I had to go back quickly to my job (thanks Fabrice) and came back at F5KEE on Sunday morning till 15:30UTC, there I met the rest of the team and some others members you can see down there...

During this contest, I had the pleasure to meet very motivated guys having fun in contest and doing a great great job ! You can read a detailed resume of this week-end at F5KEE by clicking "Contests" on the left menu, but just let you know we worked 2430 QSOs, 34 CQ Zones and 108 DXCC for final score claimed of : 1 485 570 points !

I was active during this contest all the night/morning of Saturday 25th, and on the Sunday from 12:00 UTC to 15:30 UTC. I made about 450/500 QSOs with some very nice DX JA VK ZL, many W and Asia, all EU and some AF stations.

Many thanks again to all for this super week-end and especially to Fabrice F1CGN for carrying me by car through parisian traffic !
