Hi all,
Yesterday evening, again, I was QRV for a while, and decided to try the Top Band with my vertical HF3B, even if I don't have a good ground system at the moment (I have only 4 radials of 48m each), I could log 3 new DXCCs last night, thanks to LX/PA3EZC/P (Luxembourg is now worked on the 9 HF bands ! ), OZ2TF (Denmark is now also worked on the 9 bands ! ) and UA9MA at 5136 kms (new Zone & new Continent on 160M, and my new ODX on this band... ).
I also patroled on the 40M band, and was glad to log at his beginning HC/SM7BUA (new band for Ecuador ! ) calling lonely "CQ EU" ! A little spot on the cluster helped him... HI. Then I saw a spot annnouncing R1ANP, and could be heard through a nice pile-up (already confirmed with R1ANP here but still a pleasure to work Antartica bases !), and I finished with a QSO with XE1UYS from Veracruz (also new band for Mexico ! ).
A great evening... thanks to all for QSOs !
