NH8S Swains Island : the chase ! #3

Hi, yesterday evening big signal on 12M CW as I hoped it the day before when I heard them on 12M SSB !

15 minutes and in the log ! My 4th band, thanks !

This morning I heard them on 30M CW (335) and in 40M SSB (but veeeery weak), but it was school time for children so had to go out, maybe tomorrow if QRV.

Now looking for them on 12M & 20M SSB for new slots, and dreaming of a 10M opening !

J'étais derrière sur 12cw l'autre soir, mais 439 max avec du QSB ici, pas possible de passer (encore une propag de sudiste ). Hier soir, même heure, même fréquence, mais nil ici...snif. J'aurai préféré un 15cw, ça fait 2 soirs que j'y campe et qu'ils n'y viennent pas (ou trop tard)


Ce matin, sur 30cw, il était 559, mais bcp de QRM sur sa fréquence et bcp de monde dans le split. En tous cas, c'est encourageant (rien par contre sur 40ssb....)


En tous cas, bien joué ! J'croise les doigts pour toi pour le 10m,

Salut Ronan, oui je confirme le 30M CW ce matin j'y étais, ils sont revenus une heure plus tard, ça passait toujours mais moins bien évidemment, et pile-up
dense + QRM habituel... patience et beaucoup de chance sont à prévoir ! Manque une activité EU only sur 40M CW... :)


Pour le 10M, il va déjà falloir qu'ils soient QRV quand il faut et une sacrée
ouverture !

Great signal on 30m, at least 559 this morning, but JA & NA walls, and once they requested for EU it was already too late.


Conditions were excellent this morning, a strong 59 on 17m, it could have been THE day for a 12m or 10m QSY. Maybe tomorrow.
