Hi all, still chasing these NH8S...
2 days ago I could log them on 20M RTTY for a new slot, missed them again in the morning many times on 30M CW these last days (too many callers for my tuned vertical) but who knows ?
2 days ago again, I monitored all the evening their 12M SSB QRG waiting for them, I started listening to them extremely weak : they were having a long QSO with a NA station during some minutes, and, when their signal grewed up in EU, only a few callers simplex then up 5, in the split I now only hear Paul F6EXV calling with me, Paul is logged, some calls later, it's my turn, this guy is "Dumbo eared" : I gave 5/5 but it was more 2/0 to 3/1 !! Another new slot, 9th QSO...
Yesterday morning, I was QRV on 40M & 30M CW, they were here ! Bad luck, NA & EU too... HI. It's SS here & SR in Swains, signals are ok on 30M & readable on 40M when no QRMers : they are still working NA NA & NA, then go QSY 40M SSB, 80M CW & 160M CW at the best moment Another morning on low bands for nothing...
I was monitoring 20M SSB QRG since 2 days, but RTTY only (599+ all mornings long here).
Today finally they are on 20M SSB !! 1h calling then they called by numbers, that was my chance in this crazy pile-up ! Waiting again 30 minutes to "8's" and I am logged at my second call !! 10th QSO, that was hard !
Later in the morning they are on 30M CW but too late, they are also on 10M CW but too weak actually.
To be continued...
Good luck to all !
