Hi all,
Since some weeks, I am using this reverse beacon tool, in order to see where my signals go and how much strong (or not) different active skimmers receive me.
I find this very interesting...
Actually, most of online skimmers are located in USA (both coasts), Europe, Scandinavia & Australia, but everyday you can see more and more... Now from South America, Asiatic Russia, Japan... Africa is still missing but I'm sure some South African OMs or other will join this concept a day.
Today I called CQ on 15M CW, thanks to UX5OF, UA3ICV & K0IVK for nice QSOs and good reports (here still my little vertical on the ground & 100W from my ICOM 7600), but when I have a look, I can see my sigs were also audible farther, see :
A new useful ham tool, hope it won't be ill-advisedly used in the future !
Enjoy !
Chris F8DZY.
