Hi all,
This week-end, it is the famous Coupe du REF (CW part) !
Last year, for my first participation, I finished 9th in LP category (16th general) with 854268 points...
This year, my objective is to again finish in the ten firsts in LP category, and to cross 1.000.000 points for hoping being in the 5 firsts (?)
I hope a lot of people will enter the contest, especially French guys of course for multis !!!
I just made an inverted V dipole for 80M band, so my set-up will consist of the HF3B vertical for 80 & 40M, an inverted V dipole for 80M, my TH3MKIII for 10-15-20M and the 100W of my ICOM 7600. Software is Win-Test (4.7.0) as usually...
The REF Cup is a great & funny contest (but tactical too for serious contesters !), and last week-end of February, you'll have the opportunity to join the SSB part if some DDFM (French Departments) are missing to you.
Don't hesitate to call, you will for sure be answered !

Hi, the year starts "slowly" : only 30 QSLs this month...
But again, some interesting and/or nice ones in the package :
- 3A2LF Claude confirming our 12M RTTY QSO (new confirmed band ! 
)
- YZ7AA on 17M SSB (new confirmed band ! ). Serbia is worked all bands 10 to 80M CW & SSB, just waiting some QSLs to finally close this DXCC...
- CS28MCF on 17M CW (new confirmed band mode ! 
)
- F1BHD on 2M SSB (new confirmed locator ! nice QSL !)
- HK3Q on 20M CW (REF Cup CW 2010)

- PJ2T Curaçao IOTA SA-099 on 15M SSB, my confirmed DXCC # 253 and my confirmed IOTA # 262 !!
- PJ7E Sint Maarten IOTA NA-105 on 40M, 17M, 15M & 12M CW
- PJ6A Saba IOTA NA-145 on 40M & 30M CW, my confirmed DXCC # 254 and my confirmed IOTA # 263 !!

Hi all, this week-end I came back to F6KOP Radio Club with Franco F4EVR in order to help a little for next TJ3C expedition...
Welcome to F6KOP ! (discreet entrance )
Inside, a very nice surprise, Alain F6ENO is present !! We contacted each other for long years (he is also my very first CW QSO !) with SOTA and DX-Peditions he could participate to, and I was REALLY glad to finally meet in real life !
No time to loose, we have 13-14 lenghts of coaxial to verify, some of them are 100 meters long !
While the others OMs order carefully stations' suitcases (for airplane wheighing)
Were present F1HRE Henri, F6ENO Alain, F6BIV Jean-Luc, F8BJI Jean-Paul, F4AJQ Franck, myself and F4EVR Franco (taking the photo...)
After effort, the comfort ! It's time to speak radio and expeditions to come, to give each other some ideas of future DX-Peditions...
Calling F2VX & Co... (sorry guys, for some of you our phone calls were late in the day ! 
)
Well, again an EXCELLENT afternoon with EXCELLENT OMs, I wish to everyone of you to visit & meet such guys : always motivated by new radio adventures ! A pleasure to speak with...

Hi all,
I will be in Corsica Island for my job between March 23rd and April 20th. I will bring my ICOM 7000 and a dipole or vertical antenna. QTH will be Ajaccio (DDFM 2A - Corse du Sud) but in a hostel, so I don't know yet if installing an antenna on the roof will be possible or not ? Crossing fingers and hoping a nice activity as in 2008... More infos soon !

Hi all,
Today I had the opportunity, thanks to Franco F4EVR, to go to visit F6KOP -well known Parisian Radio CLub- located in Provins (DDFM 77 Seine-et-Marne) for the traditional "Gâlette des Rois"
I have been very VERY VERY well welcomed by Franck F4AJQ & Co...
I could meet 3 members (F4AJQ, F8BJI & F6BIV) of the future team of TJ3C which should take place between Feb 10 - 20th, 2011 (an expected NEW ONE for me ! ) and talk radio, radio & radio again (really ? 
)
