144MHz...

Hi all,

On September 14th morning, before leaving for my job for 10 days (I am ), I could make some new QSOs on 144MHz...

I finally heard my 1st G station but still no QSO, and a lot lot lot of people could hear to CU8/beacon during 2 days while I just could listen to some pings of CW signal...

Well, I was happy to log F6DFI Jacky from IN87WC 393 KMS DDFM 44 (second QSO), F6KHM Olivier from IN78RJ 617 KMS (DDFM29), F5GBS Serge from IN97NA DDFM 49 (343 KMS), F4FFH Erick from IN99KC 570 KMS (DDFM 50) (new locator & DDFM ! ), and F1IWH from IN94RS DDFM 33 (114 KMS) CQing CW on 144.050 MHz...

In 5 days of 144MHz, I am now at 28 DDFM worked, and 3 DXCC, plus these locators :

144 MHz activity...

Hi all,

Still listening to 144MHz, I could log some new locators and one new DXCC...

Many thanks to F6AFC Michel from JN38CM DDFM 54 (657 kms, my new ODX & new DDFM ! ), F8DHA Fred from IN95RO DDFM 17 (188 kms) for CW QSOs.

Also worked F5DJL/P Jean-Louis from DDFM 63 (244 kms, new DDFM ! ), F4EMK Frédo from IN93GM DDFM 64 (173 kms), F4DSD Emmanuel from JN23JP DDFM 13 (345 kms, new DDFM ! ), EA3DBJ/P from JN00BR (377 kms, new locator !), F6ECS/P Jacques from JN12NK DDFM 66 (280 kms, new locator/DDFM ! ) + F5ADT Pierre from IN94WO DDFM 33 (77 kms) coming with us in QSO, and C31CT Salvador from JN02SK Andorra ! (202 kms) in CW (new DXCC ! ), here's a little recording :

144 MHz session again & IARU VHF 2010...

Hi all,

Again listening to the 2 Meters band after my previous try, I was very happy, 2 days ago, to make long & nice QSOs with F4EZL Jean-Claude from JN05OQ 184 KMS, F8BON Patrice from IN96CV 360 KMS, F6ETZ Jacky from IN97CG 396 KMS, F1BHD Georges from IN87UN 443 KMS, F6DFI Jacky from IN87WC 393 KMS, F4EFD Bruno from IN87VG 412 KMS, F1CKB Bernard from IN97SL 384 KMS & F1SEN Alain from IN96MC 252 KMS....

I had to leave in the afternoon, so I couldn't be at home for the IARU VHF beginning...

144MHz session...

Hi all,

Not many interesting DX-Pedition since some weeks to chase, HF bands are a little boring here these days... so I decided to go on VHF this morning !

Good idea : some activity with new locators, DDFMs and DXCC with Spain.

Many thanks to F6DBP Jean-Marie from IN94UW DDFM 33 (QRB 114 kms), F4EZJ Stéphane from JN05DK DDFM 16 (QRB 150 kms), EA1HRR Fidel from IN83JJ Cantabria SPAIN (QRB 312 kms) & F5GXX from IN94LP DDFM 17 (QRB 215 kms) !

All are new DDFM and Grid Locators of course for me... newbie on 2M

I also heard DDFM 77 near Paris but not contacted, also an opening to G & PA happened with some F stations but nothing here... Maybe next time ?

I'll try to survey this if other bands stay quiet before winter season (and low bands' joy ! )

F8DZY QRV 2M band !

Hi all,

Yes, it's done !

I am finally QRV on 144 MHz...

I had some problems to install all cables, as you can see it !

But finally all is ok now...

I want to thank Adrian F5VLY (in JN04GE) (my neighbour & very first contact on 2M ! ) who gave me new lenghts of coaxial for VHF and 6M (I have to build/buy a beam for) bands => my actuals are too old and not in good conditions, so tomorrow, I'll change them again !

This morning I could log F5UKL André in IN93SI (116 kms) & Frédo F4EMK in IN93GM (173 kms), no "DX" but the great pleasure to be able to talk after a long time to 2 SOTA friends !
