IL07 gridsquare & Great Britain opening on 6M...

Hi, again focus on 6M band and ES propagation, 2 days ago I could work EA8/DL3GCS from IL07XS...

...and yesterday a nice opening to Great Britain (G, GW, GD, GM, EI) : thanks to G3LUW, G8ZDS, GW4ROV/A, GW3XRM, GW0IRW, GW0VWD, GW3LNR, GD6ICR, EI9JS & GM3NKG...

All were very strong signals 5/9... sometimes +10dB, but also with strong QSB from time to time... Contacts must be short in order to enjoy the opening !

Superb openings on 6M !

Hi, what a day on the Magic Band !!

Here's my dayly QSO map :

Finally some French departments worked in short skip : tnx to F6DRA, F1MWV, F5LQ & F6GPT...

6M opening to Great Britain & OY : tnx to OY2J, GM8IEM, MS0RSD, GM4PMK, GM4VGR, GM3WUX, G4VCJ & G4YPV...

6M opening to DL & Scandinavia : tnx to OH3MF, SG3U, SM1TDE, OZ1AXG, DL5BAW, DL8YAU, DF1VB, DL9GR & DJ0JE...

6M opening to Iberic peninsula : tnx to EA7HGH, CT1EUB & ZB2EO...

6M opening to Oman : tnx Chris A45XR (our 7th QSO !)

6M opening to USA : tnx to W3LPL, K2QE, K1CP, N1BUG & K1TOL...

Yesterday, I could work some new Grid Locator in EU :

...and my firsts EA8 & CT3 ! The CU3 beacon was heard here all day long...

Thanks to all for nice contacts, 6M is alive !

6M ES to Scandinavia !

Hi all,

Yesterday I was QRV on 6M, starting with a nice opening around 1200UTC to Greece...

...I could notice propagation moved more and more to the North (OK, SP...). Around 1330UTC, the E-Sporadic came stronger and I beamed to Scandinavia area : OZ, SM & LA could be worked...

All OMs contacted gave me stronger reports I could exchange : the 5 elements beam is doing a great job here !

QRV 6M !

Hi all, I am now QRV on the "Magic Band" !

Thanks to Olivier F6ARC who made a very fast shipping of his very nice 5 elements model... See DXM6-5

I received it last Monday, and up since Friday (2 days ago)... I put down my VHF beam for the moment (no more transceiver for 2M at this day).

My very first QSO on 6M was with IZ7EBA when my beam was still 4 meters up ! Then I put it up 7 meters (not possible more up my house) and enjoyed my first E-Sporadic on the Magic band !
