Superb openings on 6M !

Hi, what a day on the Magic Band !!

Here's my dayly QSO map :

Finally some French departments worked in short skip : tnx to F6DRA, F1MWV, F5LQ & F6GPT...

6M opening to Great Britain & OY : tnx to OY2J, GM8IEM, MS0RSD, GM4PMK, GM4VGR, GM3WUX, G4VCJ & G4YPV...

6M opening to DL & Scandinavia : tnx to OH3MF, SG3U, SM1TDE, OZ1AXG, DL5BAW, DL8YAU, DF1VB, DL9GR & DJ0JE...

6M opening to Iberic peninsula : tnx to EA7HGH, CT1EUB & ZB2EO...

6M opening to Oman : tnx Chris A45XR (our 7th QSO !)

6M opening to USA : tnx to W3LPL, K2QE, K1CP, N1BUG & K1TOL...

Yesterday, I could work some new Grid Locator in EU :

...and my firsts EA8 & CT3 ! The CU3 beacon was heard here all day long...

Thanks to all for nice contacts, 6M is alive !

J37BO, EA9IB, CO8LY, 9H1XT & PY1NP in the mail...

Well, all is in the title ! I really received a lot of QSLs !!

- J37BO Bill (K4LTA) from Grenada confirming our 4 QSOs on 12M, 17M, 30M & 40M CW (all new bands ! )

Grenada Island is now only needed on 80M for all bands...

- EA9IB from Melilla confirming our 3 QSOs on 10M SSB, 12M & 17M RTTY (all new band modes ! )

- CO8LY from Cuba confirming our 4 QSOs on 10M, 12M, 15M & 30M CW (all new band slots ! )

- 9H1XT John from Malta confirming our 3 QSOs on 10M, 20M & 160M CW (all new band slots too ! ). Thanks 9H1BT QSL manager...

- PY1NP QSL received in direct for our QSO on 10M CW (nothing new for me but I liked very much his nice QSL... TNX Neif !)

ST2AR in the mail !

Hi, I also received ST2AR QSL, confirming our 10 QSOs on 10M CW, 12M CW, 15M CW, 17M CW - SSB - RTTY, 20M CW, 30M CW - RTTY & 40M CW...

I miss Sudan on 80M and as I know Robert is QRV on this band, I hope to get him this winter if still there !

Yes ! An expected one : VP8ORK South Orkney Islands (IOTA AN-008) QSL in the mail !!

It confirms our 6 QSOs on 10M, 15M, 20M, 30M, 40M & 80M CW...

It is my confirmed DXCC #261 and my confirmed IOTA # 281 !

KH2/N2NL in the mail !

Hi all, back home after a 15 days mission, I was happy to find a lot of QSLs in the mail box !

Starting with an ALL TIME NEW ONE confirmed thanks to KH2/N2NL (IOTA OC-026) QSL, confirming our 20M CW QSO !

Guam Island is my confirmed DXCC # 260 and my confirmed IOTA 280...

6M ES to Scandinavia !

Hi all,

Yesterday I was QRV on 6M, starting with a nice opening around 1200UTC to Greece...

...I could notice propagation moved more and more to the North (OK, SP...). Around 1330UTC, the E-Sporadic came stronger and I beamed to Scandinavia area : OZ, SM & LA could be worked...

All OMs contacted gave me stronger reports I could exchange : the 5 elements beam is doing a great job here !

TK/F8DZY QSLs arrived from the printer !

Hi all, good news for all of you who sent me a direct for TK/F8DZY activity of this year : the QSLs are here !

I spent my last free afternoon to answer direct QSLs (and enjoying 50MHz ES too ! ), the QSLs will leave tomorrow for those of you who put sufficient postage with SAE.

I will now answer the incoming Bureau QSLs during some months, then will upload to LotW...

QRV 6M !

Hi all, I am now QRV on the "Magic Band" !

Thanks to Olivier F6ARC who made a very fast shipping of his very nice 5 elements model... See DXM6-5

I received it last Monday, and up since Friday (2 days ago)... I put down my VHF beam for the moment (no more transceiver for 2M at this day).

My very first QSO on 6M was with IZ7EBA when my beam was still 4 meters up ! Then I put it up 7 meters (not possible more up my house) and enjoyed my first E-Sporadic on the Magic band !
