Hi all, the DX-Pedition to Clipperton Island is over ! What a nice job !!
I managed to add the 15M SSB + the 17M RTTY & 20M RTTY slots before 
Really happy with this result, congrats to the whole team, have a safe trip back home now guys, CU on the next one !

Hi again, all my targets were filled in 9 hours : TX5K was worked from 160M to 10M CW ! Including a 30M RTTY QSO and of course all missing new bands... 
I am actually waiting for them on 15M & 20M SSB for the fun, anyway I had a BIG BIG FUN to chase them today, thanks guys !

Hi all, just back from a 3 weeks mission in Paris area, I was in hurry to work these TX5K !! 
Clipperton is not a new one here, already confirmed on 40M SSB + CW, 30M CW, 20M SSB & 15M CW, my 1st target is to work them on new bands, my second is to work them from 160M to 10M CW... Maybe one RTTY QSO if I have the time for a new mode...
Well, this morning I was up early and could work them on 80M CW at 0507UTC, then on 160M CW at 0542UTC, 30M CW at 0557UTC & 40M CW at 0602UTC ! WOW !! The 4 low bands in 55 minutes ! 
That is to say the 160m & 80M are 2 new bands here, so now waiting their SR to erect my Optibeam (windy here today) and hope to get them from 20M to 10M this afternoon / evening !

Addition @ 0828UTC : TX5K just worked on 30M RTTY for a new mode and the 40M SSB slot ! Really crazy...

Hi all, only one day of chase for me as I am leaving today for job, not too bad for the high bands !
Yesterday I could add the 10M & 12M bands as new bands + 20M CW as new slot !
This morning / night I hear them on 160M but impossible to be heard... bad luck, maybe next DX-Pedition for me ? 
The blog is now QRX for 3 weeks, good luck to all !

Hi all, 5X8C is not yet finished that another African DX-Pedition just started with 9U4U Burundi !
Not a new one here, Burundi is needed on 10M, 12M, 20M & 80M for all bands !
This morning I could get them on 20M SSB for a new band (#280), 15M CW & 17M SSB (new slot)...
Hope 10M & 12M will be open this afternoon, and 80M this night (I'm leaving early to Paris for another job mission tomorrow, no more chance to work them for me).

Hi all !
Mission completed for this DX-Pedtion chase !!!
My 20M RTTY QSO finally appeared after correction, and yesterday morning, I easily worked them on 17M RTTY my last wanted slot !
My firsts targets are more than filled, more than satisfacted here...
Thanks a lot for another brilliant DX-Pedition guys, have a safe trip back home & CU on the next one !!

Hi all, the chase is still active here, with an incredible QSO on 30M RTTY in a huuuuuge pile-up + QRM from CW beacon, it was a very lucky one I believe : everybody was calling in a +1 to +4 kHz split, I tried 2 calls on +6 and I was answered !! WOW ! I was more than happy to see it was real with the online log ! It was yesterday afternoon...
...and, in the evening (2020UTC), I finally heard them for the very first time on 80M CW, not very strong but readable !
Another huge pile-up, all EU is here ! The op. calls for JA only (), NIL, the op. thanks everybody for QRX, it's my chance : I call up 2 and I am answered : "F8DZY F8DZY 599" BINGO !!! WOW ! Great new one on 80M, and my very last needed band with Uganda, now worked from 10 to 160M !! Thanks a lot "les KOPains", it was hard but it's done !
Now just looking at some RTTY on 17M & 20M for new slots, but my "chase" is already completed : nice job !

Hi, again some new QSOs since my previous article !
I was very surprised, for a Saturday evening, to log them on... 160M CW 
YES !!
The op. (Seb F5UFX) was clearly doing a great job, slowly repeating 3-4 times each call in order to be sure of them...
Coming here 335 on the vertical, not so many people, it was perfect !
2 minutes later, I called them on 40M SSB (op. F2JD) and went logged on my 4th call, good !
Yesterday I added the 20M CW, and today I sent an e-mail to F1NGP about my missing 20M RTTY QSO, we'll see.
My last targets are 17M RTTY & 80M CW...To be continued !

Hi all, the chase is going on !
After my previous QSOs, I finished my first target on the high bands with adding the missing 12M & 10M SSB slots plus some RTTY QSOs for a new mode.
I made 15 QSOs at the moment with them but the 20M RTTY is missing... 
I will have to do it again...
Just logged the 15M RTTY : (upload will be after WPX contest)
Next target : the 80M CW & 160M CW, we'll see this next week.

Here we go ! 5X8C is on air !!
Just worked them on 17M SSB for a new slot, 12M RTTY for a new mode, and 15M CW...
I am looking for them on 80/160M for serious things. The 2 x 4 square, the 160M & the 80M verticals are already setted up in Uganda...
